Nick Mescia5 StarI just wanted to express how pleased I and grateful I am for Daly & Black, especially my attorney Peyton Chesser. Peyton took on my case and get me a great settlement and the quickest turnaround possible. Everyone on her team was so helpful and informative in every way possible. I highly recommend this firm and especially Peyton if you’re ever in need of representation. Will use them again if the need arises.Friday 23rd May 2025
Juan Corona Jr5 StarExtremely pleased. They took my mother’s case and got her settlement. In a nutshell she’ll after a hail storm in S. Texas 2023. Insurance denied and said it didn’t meet the deductible. Six month later they sent an email that she had to get a new roof or they would drop her. This company said they would handle it and they did. Excellent lawyers and true to their word. Thank you for taking care of my mother.Sunday 11th May 2025
Lewis Dawson5 StarAttorney Kristina Frankel and paralegal Andrea Day did a truly stellar job of bringing my insurance case to a successful outcome. There were some unique fact patterns in my case. Ms Frankel figured out all the leverage points, and conducted a three-way negotiation from a position of strength. The result: I came out 100% whole.
I give Daly & Black my very highest recommendation.Tuesday 4th March 2025
Nick Nguyen4 StarDaly & Black were recommended to me by a family friend for my case.
Once my case was handed to Andrew and the team, they ensured I was well informed every step of the way. I never once felt uneasy or confused throughout the entire process. Andrew and team were responsive to my emails, calls, or text whenever I had any questions.
I only rate a 4/5 because of my experience dealing with the initial case manager who never reached out when she said she would, trying to connect with her was always met with voicemails and unanswered emails, and some things I relayed to her were never captured or relayed to the lawyersWednesday 12th March 2025
Hayden Schultz1 StarIn my opinion Daly & Black, PC is the worst law firm. I referred my father in law to them as they had a hailstorm and the insurance company didn’t want to pay.
Scope of damage: A/C unit, painting of siding, and fascia, roof, metal roof, shed roof a second shed which was totaled, a trampoline, playground set, power wash and stain a fence around half an acre property which is a ton of fencing, 2 garage doors, gutters, all the solar window screens around the home were damaged, and some other minor stuff here and there.
Before the file was sent to Daly and Black I personally had the file up to 22k- deductible which included the A/C unit which was like 12k of the 22k, the full shed a little bit of the siding painting, the totaled shed, and some other small stuff.
Sent to Daly & Black:
After many months Daly and Black settled the file for 30k of new money so not including the 22k- deductible. Of the original 22k my father in law received 13k minus deductible. They then received a check from Daly & Black for 16k as they kept 14k for their fees which in my opinion is steep but it was in their contingency agreement so nothing that can be done there.
Maria Handling attorney/ trial attorney
I tried for several weeks to let Maria the handling attorney also their trail attorney know that their was money missing which ended up being the depreciation from the 22k-deductible. She could not comprehend that money was missing she even sent an email saying this was a win for the insured. After awhile she ghosted me for several weeks so I reached out to John Black the head guy at the frim
John Black
All John said was he was to busy and I would have to get with Rick I guess the second highest up guy there.
Rick
Rick was the most unpleasant person I’ve come across. I explained to him the issue and told him there was a problem and right off the bat he got super defensive and told me there was no problem. Through getting cut off about 100x I was finally to able to lay it all out for him and he was able to comprehend the depreciation was never released. After he realized that he told me it didn’t matter because I got enough money to do the job to which I told him I did not. He was so stuck on the claim being a 19 Sq roof which I explained to him it doesn’t matter if it’s a 1 sq roof most of the money/ funds is all the collateral damage to the home. The collateral is way more money than the actual roof and even with that it was approved in that dollar amount but that’s not the dollar figured that was released but you guys still charged your fees based on that dollar amount. He then proceeded to tell me his job isn’t to get us all this extra walking around money it was to get enough money to get the home fixed. I explained to him it’s impossible to get all the work needing to be done finished with what’s been given let alone without the depreciation. We went in circles like this for awhile with the conversation ending with him telling me I received more than enough which is false. At the very beinging of this conversation to Rick told me that sometimes the attorneys make more than the insured gets which seems like bullshit
It’s not a ton of money missing but it’s still the fact that it’s owed and this law firm thinks since I got enough in their opinion I don’t need any more although it was approved previously.
I also explained to Maria and John and Rick that the check expired and they still haven’t said if they would get it reissued or not for the 16k.Friday 11th April 2025
